During the session, you will first hear from Roberto San Jose, the DISTENDER Project Coordinator from UPM, who will share an overview of DISTENDER’s progress, followed by insights into their Decision Support System (DSS) presented by ITTI. This innovative tool supports climate adaptation and mitigation strategies, emphasizing data-driven decision-making.
The KNOWING project will be introduced by its Coordinator, Marianne Bügelmayer-Blaschek from AIT, showcasing their approaches to climate mitigation pathways. Melanie Steger from OVOS will present how KNOWING facilitates transitions through various communication tools, ensuring diverse and accessible solutions.
The NEVERMORE project, led by Alessia Torre from FBK, will provide an overview of their advancements, highlighting the NEVERMORE ICT Toolkit—a comprehensive resource for assessing climate change impacts, risks, mitigation, adaptation strategies, and fostering climate action. SIMAVI’s WP7 Leader will share insights on how this toolkit is transforming understanding and action in the field.
The event will conclude with a round table discussion moderated by Roberto San Jose, allowing participants to engage directly with project experts and explore these innovative tools in detail.
