Roberto San José, J. L. Pérez Camaño, and Miguel Jiménez Gañán presented their latest work at the 9th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Engineering (ICSEE 2025), held from 18–20 January 2025 in Melbourne, Australia.
Their presentation, titled “Modeling the Impact of Local Climate Projections on CO₂ Emissions from Vegetation: Application on Five European Case Studies,” demonstrated the integration of localised climate projections into emissions modelling. By focusing on five distinct European territories, the study underlined how vegetation-driven CO₂ emissions may evolve under changing climatic conditions and informed sustainable energy and land-use strategies.
