Eva Loerke*, Anita Lazurko, George Linney, Lokendra Karki, and Robert Dunford will present their work at the Forum on Scenarios for Climate and Societal Futures, taking place from 16–18 July 2025 at the University of Leeds, UK.

Their presentation, titled “Assessing Feasibility of Integrated Adaptation and Mitigation Strategies Under Present and Future Conditions Using Coping Capacity Indicators,” explores a novel approach to evaluating the practicality of climate strategies. By leveraging coping capacity indicators, the team assesses how well societies can implement integrated responses to climate change under current and projected conditions.

“Exploring Cross-Sectoral Risk and Vulnerability to Climate Change to the Year 2050 Across Multiple Spatial Scales Across Europe”
Presented by George Linney*, Anita Lazurko, Arpita Singh Panwar, Alexander Wickenden, Eva Loerke, Josep Serra Gallego, and Robert Dunford-Brown, this research investigates future climate risks and vulnerabilities across sectors and regions in Europe, considering both local and continental scales through to 2050.
